Sandy has been a part of the Frame Shoppe since it opened its doors in September of 1989. In 1998, Sandy became a partial owner. In 2005, she purchased her partner's remaining interest and became full owner of the shop. She has been a framer since 1986, and received her Professional Picture Framer's Association certification in 1988. Since her certificiation, she has won three national framing titles, with the winning pieces on display at the PPFA headquarters in Richmond, Virginia. Sandy is currently a national PPFA competition judge.
